My faith is a huge part in my life and its means so much to me. It’s my one major thing I can always go to in good times and bad. This is when I went to a christian conference called Dare 2 Share. It was a big stepping stone in my faith journey. Dare 2 Share opened my eyes to all the things in the church and all the things around me. While I was at Dare 2 Share I knew people were not honoring God how they should or I knew people that were my friends that were non believers and needed the word of God in their lives desperately. What they said at Dare 2 Share changed me forever. They are the reason I’m all in for God, they’re the reason I changed those friends lives forever by telling them about Jesus Christ and leading them to the faith of Jesus. At Dare 2 Share they said “Everyone close your eyes, and no one peak. Right now I want you to hold up your hand if you have, or are right now going to give yourself to God. If not then right now I’m going to pray for you, and hopefully put up your hand… Dear Lord I ask you to bless these young men and women that they might come and see the light of your world. How they need you in their lives SO MUCH. That God LOVES THEM. That they might see your light and hear your calling to your family so that one day we can all be in your paradise you have made for us. Amen.” That prayer hit me hard cause at the start I had doubts about my faith. Then I heard the prayer I knew then that I was going to give my whole heart to God. I want to be His minister, and share, and save them from not being in his paradise. Next was a skit, It demonstrated how many people die per second, and the people who die a that aren’t believers. They demonstrated that every second is like a snap of your fingers. Every 10 snaps, 9 snaps are deaths of non believers. In the skit one of the kids whose names Mike didn’t first believe, but when he he hear people were dying and didn’t believe. Mike decided to put his faith in God and help people learn about Jesus so much that he got killed for being a minister of the Lord’s word.
My point is that I want to be like mike and if need be sacrifice myself for others knowing that I am for sure going to heaven and that if I die, I died with a purpose of helping other people going to heaven some day. This is my faith, this is what I believe in.
